YCW NY | Flushing Food Crawl

Join YCW NY on Sunday August 31, 2025 from 5PM onwards to embark on a food tour of Flushing, Queens, New York's largest Chinatown. We will be meeting by the front entrance of the Queens Public Library at Flushing (41-17 Main St, Flushing, NY 11355) and visit the spots below:

• Gao Xiao Pa (for roujiamo 肉夹馍）
• Soy Bean Chan (for tofu pudding 豆花）
• Jue Wei BBQ Cart
• New World Food Mall
• Optional KTV session at the end of the crawl from 7:30 - 9:30PM (Please indicate whether you'd like to attend when RSVP'ing)

Why are we charging?

YCW is a volunteer-run initiative depending on the grace of the venues we work with to host our events. Our free events have had completely wild attrition rates ranging from 30% to nearly 80% no shows. This makes it extremely hard for us to both give venues the heads up as to how much space we need, and to know how many volunteers we need to staff them.

We DON'T want to earn money from you, and so the ticket will get you something commensurate in value (in this case, drinks & snacks). But we would like to nudge you to come if you sign up.
